Transition Town Maroondah

Creating a local sustainable community beyond oil dependency.

Hi,

Vicky, you mentioned that you bought some henna recently, but were not sure how to use it. May I highly recommend this website: http://www.hennaforhair.com/  it has great instructions, and they produce great results!

I will certainly never use chemical dyes again. Henna does take half a day to do, but the colours are so rich and glowing, and they don't wash out, I need to henna my hair every 2months or so (which is better than 1 month with the chemical dyes).

You can buy more than just orange red henna too. I use dark red and indigo to produce the most amazing mahogany brown colours! I bought my henna at Go Vita in Eastland and the colours are wonderful, but it is a bit expensive. I must check out some of the Indian grocery stores in Ringwood...:)

Enjoy.
