- Briefly, what interests you about the Transition Initiative?
- I have a keen interest in sustainable living and have been looking for a local community to assist in furthering my knowledge, to share thoughts and opinions with and help spread the passion of backyard horticulture.
I have reached a juncture where my interest and passion for environmental issues require more action. I seek the opportunity to grow in this area along with my husband. I hope to teach my children the benefits and pleasures of "growing your own" whilst providing them invaluable insights to the source of their food.

Hello Janine,
Thanks for inviting me to be friends. In the City of Whitehorse we finally are planning to launch our Transition Town Whitehorse. We have two days of TTW training, arranged by the city and some 24 have enrolled - they are hoping for 30 so there are still a few vacancies for this free TT training. Interested?
